Lot #69564

This 1990 Jaguar XJS was acquired by the seller in California in November 2020, reportedly from its original owner. The car is finished in blue over blue leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated blue soft top, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, fog lamps, and a factory cassette stereo. Rear brake components were replaced in April 2021 and the power antenna motor and a power steering hose were replaced in February 2022. This Jaguar XJS is offered at no reserve with the factory manuals, four keys, a boot cover, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in light blue and features a power-operated dark blue soft top with a heated glass rear window along with dual exhaust outlets and fog lamps. The power antenna motor was replaced in February 2022 and paint damage is noted on the trunk lid following a paint correction.

Basketweave 15″ alloy wheels wear Jaguar-logo center caps and 235/50 Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires. The brake accumulator and fluid were reportedly changed in April 2020, the rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads were replaced in April 2021, and a power steering hose was replaced in preparation for the sale.

The cabin is upholstered in blue leather with gray carpets, and burl wood veneers accent the dash, center console, and doors. There is a crack in the wood trim on the center console. Amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, and a Jaguar-branded cassette stereo. The passenger-side window was repaired in preparation for the sale. The seller notes that the driver-side window needs assistance when raised and the HVAC system requires servicing.

A leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 1,500 of which have been added by the seller. The seller states that the speedometer needle sticks intermittently. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The car passed a California emissions test in February 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a GM TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
