This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible has been with the current owners in central California since 1998 and now shows just under 64k miles. It is finished in Diamond Blue over a blue leather interior with burl wood trim, and features include a newer dark blue power top, 15″ cross-laced alloy wheels, and a factory cassette stereo. Its 5.3-liter V12 is linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, and a coolant leak was fixed in January 2017 and the oil changed in September 2017. This XJS is now offered on behalf of the long-term owner’s wife with a clean Carfax report, service records, and a clean California title.
The body is finished in Diamond Blue (JFN) and features a power-operated navy blue soft top that was reportedly installed in 2010. The seller notes that an included 2008 receipt documents repairing and refinishing the right quarter panel as well as replacing the right taillamp.
The 15” alloy wheels wear Pirelli P600 tires. Additional features include power windows, a rear defroster, courtesy door lights, and halogen headlamps. The seller notes that the keyless-entry door fob is not working.
The interior is upholstered in blue leather and features power locks, automatic temperature control, cruise control, electrically adjustable sport seats, burl walnut trim, a carpeted rear luggage area, and a carpeted trunk.
The six-digit odometer shows approximately 63,600 miles, 27k of which reportedly were added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter V12 features aftermarket performance intakes and was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque for the US market. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission.
21-Years-Owned 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible.
Records are said to date back to 1998, and servicing in 2017 included repairing a coolant leak, changing the oil, and replacing a drive belt. The seller notes that the driveline has an oil leak. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other issues and notes registrations and inspections in California since 1993. Maintenance records beginning in 2001 are also indicated on the report.
