Car returns to ebay 9/5/22
Opening bid $33,375 reserve not met 0 bids buy it now price: $42,500, 6 days left in auction, seller westcoastclassics, 11k miles, car now in Torrance, California.
Seller's description:
Exterior Color: Black
Interior Color: Beige/Tan
Body Type: Convertible
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Fuel Type: Gasoline
Engine: 5.3L V12 single overhead cam (SOHC) 24V
Mileage: 11,437
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this classic extraordinarily low mileage 1990 Jaguar XJS 5.3L V12 Convertible with only 11K original miles in the gorgeous and very striking and desirable color combination of original factory 'Jet Black' (Code PDH) paint with factory alloy wire wheels and beautiful doeskin 'Barley' (Trim Code AFW) leather interior and with a Black factory power soft top! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner!
Obviously always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accidents and a clean CARFAX report, owned by only two obviously very careful and mature owner/drivers since new - never abused, babied all the way!
The original factory 'Jet Black' color paint is in absolutely excellent condition as is the original 'Barley' color leather seats and interior. There are no signs of any wear with the door panels, headliner and the carpets all in outstanding condition throughout and the car had an original sales price of over $64K in 1989/90!
Powered by one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5,344 c.c. V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should!
This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desirable and collectible rare V12 Jaguar, a truly luxurious smooth V12 ride and one of the last beautiful hand built cars from Jaguar's legendary Browns Lane, Coventry, England plant and a car that cost almost $64K new in 1990 (over $142K in todays money!) - this is probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - with these models becoming harder to find in such all original condition with low miles and with this car having only two obviously careful and mature owner/drivers since new, this is one sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply any classic car lover!
You will certainly look long and hard to find a finer example of this immaculate and very rare and desirable V12 Jaguar XJS Convertible with no history of any accidents, rust or 'stories' and all original owners dealer handbooks and tools and boasting only 11K original miles in this classic color combination available anywhere else!
