1985 Jaguar XJS Coupe V12 Coupe brought to you by Zoom Classic Cars. 12 cylinder car in overall good condition. Finished in Tudor White exterior with Black leather interior in excellent condition. 113K original miles. This Jaguar received a service in 2018 that included replacement of the head gaskets with updated units. The Series 2 XJS benefitted from numerous styling changes over the outgoing Series 1 model including; new five-spoke "starfish" alloy wheels, chrome inserts on the upper part of the bumpers, and burled elm inserts on the dashboard and door caps.The V12 in this Jaguar features the "May Fireball" combustion chamber designed by Swiss engineer Michael May. This design relocated the spark plugs to the side of the combustion chamber and revised the pistons to have a flat-top design. The result, coupled with revised gearing, was dramatically improved fuel efficiency, ensuring that Jaguar could continue to build efficient V12s during the 1980s. This is the origin of the "HE" badge on the back of the car, which stood for "High Efficiency." This particular XJS came from the factory with a 5.3-liter V12, which produces 263 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. Other features include: JVC CD audio system, Bulldog keyless entry system, The paint is in overall good condition and all the panels of the car line up nicely. There is no evidence of rust and the undercarriage is very clean. All the Jaguar badging is intact and in great condition including the gold hood ornament. Other Items Included in Sale: 2 sets of keys, Owner's manuals, 2 cans of 134a refrigerant, full spare tire with factory rim and jack.
