We are delighted to offer this 1993 Jaguar XJS 4.0 in Flamenco Red with oatmeal interior. First registered in June 1993, it was supplied by Appleyard Jaguar of Harrogate. Our vendor is the fifth keeper and has had the Jaguar for over 22 years, although they were informed it was company owned for some of its early life and then bought by the driver for private use. We have the original service book that records 22 stamps and an additional invoice confirming the last service and a brake fluid change at 43,000 miles. The XJS also comes with a complete collection of MOT certificates which backs up the low recorded mileage of 45,000.
The deep, metallic red of Flamenco is a sophisticated hue that really suits a grand tourer like the XJS. It certainly highlights the brightwork which presents really nicely. The five-spoke alloy wheels are free from kerbing and shod with good quality rubber. The cabin is equally as good, as you would expect with so few miles covered. The leather is free from any significant wear or damage and the wood, which so often degrades on old Jaguars, is in great condition. It’s all original in here, right down to the Jaguar-branded stereo. In the boot, there’s a full size spare wheel and a complete Jaguar toolkit.
The Jaguar comes with V5C, current and old MOTs, some old tax discs, full book pack, an old V5, some promotional material / brochures and magazine articles. There is also a spare key.
