For Sale on June 09th, 2014 on the carandclassic.co.uk website. Very Nice Car! Seller is Robert Hughes Automobiles located in Weybridge, Surrey. Bryan called Robert Hughes and got the VIN. Asking UKL 14,995 with 22,000 miles. Listing says "1986 Jaguar XJS V-12 Cabriolet. Has just 22,000 miles. Produced for just three years, the 'Cabriolet' appeals because its roof bar offers rigidity for practical all year round motoring without compromising the open air experience when its roof panels are removed. This particular example is on the market for the first time since it was two years old, and we purchased the car directly from the Previous Owner. With an extremely low mileage of just 22,000 since new, this car has been cared for without compromise. The local Jaguar main Dealer attended to all servicing and maintenance until they closed around 2006, and then the Owner entrusted V-12 Jaguar specialists KWE to thoroughly survey the vehicle and replace any mechanicals or perishables recommended including a suspension upgrade and a rebuild. The vehicle's sound structure was thoroughly scrutinised and KWE carried out rust proofing around all vulnerable areas. KWE's final bill exceeded £16,000 and this car has covered less than 1,000 miles since this work was completed in 2009. Finished in Tudor White with Magnolia Hide, this is piped in Dark Blue (as a special factory order) to tie in with the folding roof and removable panels. An interesting addition is a tailor made removable rear seat cushion which fixes over the lockable storage locker located behind the two front seats. With such meticulous attention having been paid to this Jaguar during the last Owner's twenty five years of care, it is not surprising that the condition of the bodywork, paintwork, bright work and interior is pretty flawless. With 'targa' style 80's classics becoming ever more sought after, this uniquely specified and rare XJS could be a once in a life time opportunity, especially with its exceptionally low mileage and the high level of care which has been lavished upon it
