Ebay item 10/18/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Jaguar-XJS/173593730490
Car has a buy it now price of $7,495 for 6 days, seller rickhuber, 116k miles.
Seller's description:
Nice looking, great driving XJS convertible. Classic styling, luxury sport performance, classic grand touring car. Ice blue with oatmeal interior and wood dash and console. Power seats, windows, locks, steering, convertible top, and brakes; Auto transmission, CD player, 2+2 leather seats, airbags, cruise control. Ready for a road trip to your home.
For the 91 to 96 model XJSes, this one has the most desirable, most reliable straight 6, DOHC 4.0L, 240 HP, AJ16 engine. The AutoCheck for this car shows five owners in Florida and California before the current owner in Louisiana, so as you would expect, the car is rust free. Owner has not found any sign of body work done on the car, which is confirmed by the clean AutoCheck. The hood and front fenders have been previously repainted, and the rear end needs to be repainted, particularly the boot lid, with a sun damaged finish. Should be an easy, inexpensive repaint with very little to no body work needed.
Interior is in great condition with slight wear on the seats and carpet. Convertible top has been replaced in the last two or three years and is in great condition. Falken 225/60-15 tires are just over a year old, with very few miles, and are in great, like-new condition. Chrome all around the exterior of the car is excellent. All glass is clear and unchipped. Engine starts easily, runs smoothly and quietly, and accelerates well. Driving up to 80 mph is smooth and straight, no steering wheel vibration. Prior to purchase the car was used for commuting between Pensacola, FL and Bogalusa, LA - 193 miles each way. All instruments/gauges/switches work. A/C compressor, drier, and expansion valve have just been replaced. The air struts that hold up the boot lid are brand new.
Asking price is $7495 or best offer. Priced below market due to needing paint, but looks good from a distance and is ready to drive as is.
