Sellers description:
A LOW LOW mileage 1990 Jaguar XJ-S convertible with 27,500 miles, original engine and transmission. The car drives well with extra power over the original spec due to the improvements made detailed below. The AC works.

The car is in the process of restoration with the convertible top and console wood being the only major outstanding item remaining. The car has undergone a top engine rebuild, replacement of all the original catalytic converters with 2 high performance ones, fuel tank removed and cleaned, additional instrumentation has been added, dual electric fans and new shroud fitted, performance air intakes, coolant filters, new trans mount, and new water pump.

A set of new tires and battery. I will also include the new headliner and new convertible top as part of the auction. All original components such as the mechanical fan, air intakes are also included.

I'm unable to finish the project due to injury, so looking for a good home for the cat.

Car is located in Columbia MD. Always garaged under my ownership.

I bought this car from an import company, have almost finished fully restoring it, it will take until next spring before its 100% ready. It’s second life will be in Belgium. Only driving in sunny conditions obviously

things that have been done since I purchased it:

full repaint in original same original color with keeping everything original (part numbers)

wheels refurbished

chrome parts bumpers refursibished

seats and interior lining renewed ( in original colors)

all woodwork replaced (original color)

changed us bumpers and indicator lights with European model front and back

changed headlight sealed beams with open beams with h4 bulbs (for better night vision and also for technical check that is very strict in Belgium)

technical: new shock absorbers, new brakes, a few rubber catheters renewed, window motors left front and back changed with new parts

things Still to do:

refurbish or replace aircopump (not working, have to check that)

Change left front window and system (window is a bit cracked and system seems to be bent so window doesn’t close correctly)

Change both boot lid gas struds

Replace broken Sun visor support clips

refurbish instrument panel (not working properly)
