Amazing interior condition
Full original Jaguar toolkit
Large history file
Drives incredibly well
Comprehensive service history
First registered in March 1992
It has then experienced some very kind owners
One of these previous owners has put together a list of its service history
Between 1992-2001 it was serviced at Grange Jaguar
From 2002-2009 it was serviced annually at independent garages
Over these 17 years, the car averaged around 3,000 miles annually
It was then serviced in 2018 at 52,668 miles
In the current ownership, the front drop links and steering rack have been replaced
Whilst at the workshop for its steering rack in June 2023 it also received a full service
Its current MOT runs until August 2024
In 2018 the car received 2 new calipers on the rear brakes
This car has a big history file dating back to the late 00s
A lot of the larger invoices have been photographed individually and can be found in the gallery below
It has managed to keep a lot of its old MOT certificates as well
Along with all of the invoices you’ll find a leather Jaguar wallet, in which there is a lot of the original Jaguar literature about the XJS
An important feature of this specific XJS is the full tool kit that lives in the boot
It was removed and photographed to demonstrate its originality
This car has lived an interesting life so far, now it's up to you to write the next chapter of its life
The Interior
Upon opening the door of this XJS you are struck with an amazing interior
Trimmed in a combination of premium leather and wood veneer it is the place to be
The front seats fitted to this XJS are in incredible condition
For a car of its age, you’d expect some signs of wear and tear, but there is no such damage on these seats
The leather is presented in very good condition indeed
These front seats are also electrically operated and heated, adding an extra level of luxury
In the rear, the seats are also in great condition
A lot of the dashboard and centre console are also trimmed in this leather
Another key feature on the interior of this XJS is the wood veneer
Sometimes this veneer can peel/crack over the years due to UV exposure
As you can see from the photos the veneer that is fitted to this Jaguar is in great condition
There is no sun bleaching or other damage present to the veneer
The current owner has installed a new radio that has Bluetooth connectivity
They also mentioned that the air conditioning was not functioning
This did however give us an opportunity to test the electric windows
Both of the windows went up and down on the button without any worrying noises
Another area of the interior that was very clean for the photograph was the carpets
This carpeting also extends into the cavernous boot space
Back here you’ll find the full-size spare wheel, this spare wheel has a new Falken tyre fitted
Overall, the interior of this XJS is in very good condition
We got to experience the interior when the car was taken for a drive to the photoshoot location, and it was very comfortable
The Exterior
Externally this XJS looks amazing
Its characteristic flying buttresses on the rear and intricate alloy wheels make for a great-looking car
Finished in a lovely green it stands out from the car
During the photoshoot, no large or obvious areas of bubbling, lacquer peel, or other damage was observed
There are a few nicks to the paintwork but no large areas that’ll require immediate repairs
Adorning the exterior is a lot of silver brightwork
All of this brightwork is presented in amazing condition, there is no pitting or corrosion present
On each corner, you’ll find an intricate alloy wheel
All of these alloys are in very good condition and are wrapped in a set of Falken tyres
At the front of the car, the lower chin spoiler looks to be in good visual condition
The headlights and fog lights have both got clear, crack-free lenses
The story is the same for smoked rear lenses they are also clean and crack free
Overall, the exterior of this XJS is in rather good condition indeed
This car will look amazing sitting on your drive or at any car show you take it to
The Mechanics
Under the bonnet of this Jaguar, you’ll find a 5.3L V12 engine
This smooth and quiet engine provides a lot of grunt to pull you down the road
Over the year this engine has been kept serviced within its service intervals
Its most recent full service was in June 2023
It has also recently had a steering rack overhaul and also two brake calipers in 2018
On the day of the photos, the car was taken out for a drive
It performed this task impeccably with no worrying noises
The V12 fired into life effortlessly and purred away quietly
On the road, its soft suspension soaked up the uneven road surface and never felt uncomfortable
Its automatic gearbox shifted between its four speeds smoothly
When manoeuvring around the location it never complained and was easy to work with
Thanks to all of its previous work it is now presented in great mechanical condition
The current owner has used this car as their daily vehicle and has never had a problem in doing so
