Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible is finished in a light gold metallic over beige leather and shows 71k miles. The car was sold new in California, and spent time in Virginia and North Carolina before coming to the selling dealer in New York. Power comes from a 6.0L V12 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Approximately one month ago the car received an oil change, A/C service, and inspection. This Jaguar is now offered in North Salem, New York at no reserve with 260+ pictures, keys, a factory boot cover, clean Carfax, and a clean North Carolina title.
The light gold metallic finish is accented with brown pin-striping and a black soft top incorporating a glass rear window with defrost. The seller notes a few body panels appear to have been refinished, though the included Carfax is free of accidents or other damage.
1995 was the penultimate year for the long-running XJS. As the model progressed through the years Jaguar made several improvements, including replacing the prior inboard rear brake system with a modern outboard setup. This particular example is fitted with a rear spoiler and 16″ alloy wheels mounted with 225/60 Pirelli P4 tires. An exterior walk-around video can be viewed above.
The interior is trimmed in beige leather upholstery with black piping. Some wear is present on the driver’s outer-bolster.
Burl wood adorns the door panels, center stack, and dashboard. Factory equipment includes dual power/memory/heated front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, trunk-mounted CD changer, trip computer, power windows/mirrors/locks, and more. The mechanical odometer indicates just over 71k miles.
Beginning in May 1992 the original V12 was enlarged to 6.0-liters, with Jaguar stating the revised engine output at 301 horsepower and 351 lb-ft of torque. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a GM 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The seller states recent maintenance included an oil change, A/C service, and inspection.
The accident-free Carfax reports four owners and North Carolina registration since March 2008. Linear odometer progression and a number of service history records are also listed.

Lot #261190
This 1995 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible was initially registered in California, and it spent time in several states before it was acquired by the current owner’s spouse on BaT in February 2019. Over $20k of subsequent work included refreshing the interior and replacing the transmission mount, oil pressure sending unit, security ECU, door lock module, differential seals and bearings, throttle bushings, hood struts, and assorted ignition, fuel delivery, electrical, and braking components. Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Topaz over Oatmeal leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable black soft top, 16″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, a six-disc CD changer, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJS convertible shows 76k miles and is now offered on consignment at no reserve by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with two car covers, a binder of service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Texas title.
The car is finished in Topaz (SDN) with pinstriping and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. Some of the body panels were refinished under previous ownership, and a replacement door lock module and hood struts were installed in 2019. An estimate in the gallery indicates that paintwork was performed on the right headlight bezel, hood, right fender, and left door in 2020, and the front bumper was repaired in June 2026. Two wear marks are present on the front of the soft top.
The 16″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 225/60 Michelin Defender T+H tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brake accumulator sphere was replaced in December 2019, new rear brake rotors and pads were installed in 2021, and the front brake calipers, pads, and rotors were replaced in June 2026. Imperfections are visible on the wheels.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Oatmeal (AGD) leather with contrasting piping. Interior amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and a six-disc CD changer. Interior refurbishments in 2019 included re-covering the driver’s seat, re-dyeing the passenger’s seat, repairing the rear seat, and replacing the headliner and center armrest upholstery. There are cracks in the finish on the wood trim near the shifter.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 4,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 6.0-liter V12 was factory rated at 278 horsepower and 351 lb-ft of torque. Service between 2019 and 2020 included replacing the air conditioning expansion valve and receiver drier, along with the security ECU, throttle bushings, distributor cap, distributor rotor, ignition wires, and spark plugs. The oil was changed and the air conditioning system was recharged in August 2025. Work in the summer of 2026 consisted of installing a rebuilt alternator and replacing the battery, fuel pressure regulator, and oil pressure sending unit.
The itemized summary above lists work completed under current ownership, along with transportation, storage, and other expenses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission mount and spool bushing were replaced in December 2019, and the differential bearings and seals were replaced in January 2020.
A binder of service records will accompany the car, along with two car covers and a top boot.
