Genuine low-mileage 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible, powered by the smooth and iconic 5.3L V12 (HE) engine. With only 42,000 miles, this is a rare opportunity to own an good example of one of Jaguar's most distinctive grand tourers.
This is a classic Jaguar. Please be conscious of what you are buying. These cars can be tempremental and need frequent maintanance. No guarantees will be made and this vehicle is sold as-is.
A replacement seat upholstery set will convey with the car, along with a box of miscellaneous parts and a genuine Jaguar workshop maintenance manual.

New bonnet release cable - 41,700 mi
New spark plugs and distributor - 38,000 mi
New front tires - 37,500 mi
New radiator - 32,000 mi
Forward catalytic converters replaced, both sides - 35,000 mi
Rearward catalytic converter replaced driver side - 35,000 mi

Known Issues:
Paint stained in places, damaged by car wash. Needs to be freshened up.
Some rust in hood frame. Elecric convertible mechanism works perfectly.
Some small body trim is damaged, worn, needs replacement.
Intermittent battery drain. Battery kill switch installed
A/C does not blow cold, likely needs recharge
Retractable radio antenna inoperative; may be cause of the intermittent battery drain
Front lower fog lights not working
Driver's seat leather is split. A made-to-measure replacement upholstery set will convey with the car
Slight oil vapor smell/entry into cabinn, not yet diagnosed
Surface rust on lower left quarter panel; rest of the body is solid
This is a car with genuine care and investment behind it but it does need some sprucing up on appearance, and some minor mechanicals - so I'm pricing accordingly.
