The most luxurious Jaguar model available at the time of its arrival, this 1989 Jaguar XJS Convertible is finished in its original Satin Beige Metallic with a Chocolate canvas power folding top over a Barley leather interior. It is heavily equipped as standard with a three-speed automatic transmission, 15-inch polished aluminum wheels, Lucas fog lights, air conditioning, leather bucket seats, power steering, power brakes power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, AM/FM cassette stereo, and cruise control.

According to its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, this XJS was first registered in St. Louis, Missouri in September 1988 and remained in the state for more than 30 years under a small number of attentive owners. Regular servicing is documented by the report, including a substantial refresh at European car specialists GLM Motorworks in February 2021 where the front shock absorbers and bushings were replaced, the fuel system was serviced, and the fuel injectors were replaced. The Florida-based consignor acquired the car that July. It has since received additional care including a service in October 2025.

Carefully maintained by a string of meticulous collectors, this example boasts just 6,726 miles from new. With collector mileage and a lifetime of documented, enthusiast-level care, this 1989 XJS Convertible is an as new example of Jaguar's venerable V12 flagship.

This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible was first delivered to Moore Jaguar of St Louis, Missouri, and it now has 7k miles. Finished in Satin Beige with a brown soft top over Barley leather, the car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, a cassette stereo, and heated front seats with power lumbar support. Acquired by the owner in 2026, this XJ-S V12 convertible is now offered on their behalf by the seller at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title.

The car is finished in Satin Beige and features a brown soft top with a heated glass window as well as heated power-adjustable mirrors. The soft top actuator was reportedly replaced in 2026. The antenna does not retract.

Silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires in November 2020. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs. The front shock bushings and left rear brake caliper were replaced in 2021. The seller notes a steering vibration between 58 and 62 miles per hour.

The cabin is trimmed in Barley leather along with burl wood veneer accents, and it features heated seats with power lumbar support as well as a trip computer and a cassette stereo. The right door window regulator was repaired and the motor replaced in December 2020, while the left door window switch, regulator, and motor were replaced in April 2021.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 7k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership. The fuel level gauge can be intermittent, per the seller.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The hood struts and four of the fuel injectors were replaced in December 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission spool mount was replaced in December 2020.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Moore Jaguar of St Louis, Missouri, along with equipment and a total suggested retail price of $56,450.
