2-owner, 129K miles Bordeaux Red over Light tan leather 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC V12 in Monterey California. The first owner of this car was Merve Griffin's wife! For those of you who don't know Merve Griffin was famous for being a TV personal but most notable for creating two of the most popular game shows being the wheel of fortune in 1983, and Jeopardy in 1984. This has always been garage kept and very well maintained. There is no rust on the car, it was painted once before the original color and looks excellent to this day. The interior is also in very good condition, there is no rips and little signs of aging. Under the hood is a 5.3L V12 with an automatic transmission that was said all stock. It starts right up and sounds very smooth. Power steering, disc brakes. Now showing 129k miles, this Jaguar is offered with a clean Carfax, Targa panels, an optional Surrey-style rear hardtop, the original soft top rear window, and a clean CA title. It will need new tires.
This car came out of Modesto, CA. The previous owner was a Jaguar collector who passed away around five years ago. His wife finally decided to sell his collection. He has owned this vehicle since 2002. It hasn’t been driven much in the past five years. But like I said with some new tires you’ll be able to drive it and enjoy this this rare classic.
