Sought after Celebration model
Lovely looking example
We are very pleased to offer to market this very nice and rare Jaguar XJS Celebration Coupe finished in possibly the best colour combination of Satin beige with magnolia leather trim piped with caramel and a wood rim steering wheel. This colour combination typifies what Jaguars are all about, a very good looking and palatial car that just oozes class and sophistication, just as it should. These are becoming very rare now, especially in this colour combination matched with possibly the best 4.0-litre engine and being the Celebration model. A perfect package!
According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust, the XJS Celebration (released to mark the marque's 75th anniversary) began production in May 1995 at VIN number 221855 and ended in April 1996 at 226645. All factory Celebration models built during this run fall within this sequence, and the number on this example ends with 222226, which is within the spread and confirms that it is a Celebration model.
The Jaguar comes with a host of invoices and receipts, and past MOTs that show it has been a cherished and loved example throughout its life. Recently, it has been part of a private collection for a number of years. The brakes and many suspension parts have been replaced along with the headlining and some trim, with the total invoice running into a good few thousand pounds. This gives you an indication of how it was cared for even when in the collection. The paperwork carries on with past V5s and a clear HPi certificate showing the Jaguar has only had four previous owners, adding to its desirability.
Since arriving with us, this Celebration has caused a bit of a stir amongst those who have seen it, so if you are in the market for one of these it would be a shame to miss this one.
