This Jaguar XJ-SC V12 is a rare two-seat targa-style Cabriolet, finished in a stylish colour scheme. 

Under the bonnet is a naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, delivering around 219kW to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. 

This is understood to be one of only 3,883 Cabriolet variants ever made.

The car was supplied as a new vehicle to New Zealand.

It has been with the current owners for 30 years.

The odometer shows 134,360 km, which the seller believes is the genuine total.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

The car is finished in Signal Red with a black roof, over a cream leather-trimmed cabin featuring burr walnut inlays. 

It rides on a set of 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, wrapped with mixed Hankook and Durun tyres. 

Equipment includes speed control, a heated rear window, a trip computer, heating and ventilation controls, and a cassette stereo. 

Accompanying the vehicle will be the owner’s manuals and service book, and some invoices and Warrant of Fitness (WoF) records.

SERVICE HISTORY

In May 2025, Paul Walbran Motors completed a service and WoF, replacing the engine oil and filter. 

In December 2024 at 134,218 km, Paul Walbran Motors rectified a brake fluid leak, replaced the brake master cylinder cork float, and rebuilt the brake callipers with new pistons and seals. In addition, the spark plugs, throttle linkage bushes, kick-down switch and fuel hoses were changed, the injectors were cleaned, a damaged section of wiring was replaced, and a transmission oil leak was rectified.  

In September 2022 at 134,046 km, Paul Walbran Motors refitted the power steering belt, replaced the handbrake pads, adjusted the handbrake, replaced the left steering rack boot, and renewed the spark plugs, fan belt and alternator belt. 

In October 2020, Paul Walbran Motors replaced a power steering hose, changed the engine oil and filter, topped up the transmission and differential oils, cleaned the spark plugs, and rectified a fault with the radiator shroud.
