For Sale July 26, 2014 on eBay UK. Has 28,728 miles and has had only 1 Owner.
1987 JAGUAR XJS CABRIOLET, V-12, AUTOMATIC, WHITE. Up for auction is my 1987 Jaguar XJ-SC V-12 automatic in White. This XJS has a genuine documented 28,728 miles and as you would expect the condition of the vehicle reflects the extremely low mileage. I am the 2nd Owner of this car from new and I have owned it for over 24 years. It has lived its life in a dry climate controlled storage facility as part of a collection. The vehicle has only been driven on the occasional sunny day, hence the low mileage, but over the years it has not been used and enjoyed as much as it should hence the reason for the sale. I have all the documentation for the car from new to back up the low mileage. Comes with tax and test until May 2015 and has recently had a service which included new spark plugs. The overall condition of the car is extremely good as I hope the pictures show and the next owner will certainly not be disappointed with the car in any way. It comes complete with factory fitted rear seats and the twin American headlight conversion. Very rarely do these cars come to the market in this condition with this low documented mileage. Viewing is highly recommended and welcome.

This 1987 example presents in white over blue leather with a matching blue roof — a striking combination that suits the car's lines handsomely. Showing 31,493 miles on the odometer and described by the vendor as having genuine mileage, it is reported to have been garaged throughout its life and has never been restored. The vendor informs us that the leather, wood trim and alloy wheels are all in very good condition, and the car is fitted with nearly new Pirelli tyres.
A history file accompanies the car, including old MOT certificates and invoices. It's a grand example of a lesser-spotted Big Cat, and we're sure it'll garner plenty of interest at auction.
UK-market, right-hand drive example first registered on 2nd November 1987
Four registered keepers from new, including the current keeper
Current keeper since February 2025

Believed to be mechanically standard
The vendor reports the car drives beautifully
