This is my Auggie whom I acquired in Los Angeles, early 90's. Auggie was delivered to the LA Jag dealer as part of the first 27 3.6 engined cars to test the American market. The dealer had to drive, maintain, etc., for 5 years, after which it was theirs. Due to sunburnt paint, the car was painted white.
Auggie was then sold to a dentist friend of the dealer for the dentist's wife. She did not like the heavy clutch in LA traffic and they agreed to sell the car. I purchased him during a business trip to LA and drove him home to Illinois.
Auggie is now in need of restoration, which I plan to do. Although right now he is rough, I plan to keep him and pass on to family. Amazing car.
