Note about above: Official XJ-S production figures are problematic; once Jaguar went to the VIN scheme there was no easy way for a latter day historian to determine the exact number of coupes, convertibles, etc. without having the factory build sheets. To our knowledge, there are no published, verified totals for the various models. We have recorded the following:
