119,000 MILES
ON EBAY 03/07
SELLER WRITES:
1978 Jaguar XJS 350 V8 conversion with no reserve. New carpet and headliner that looks great. Many new parts throughout. The tires have around 1,000 miles on them. The car only has 119,000 miles! It runs and drives more smoothly than my BMW! Fuel gauge and temp gauge were unhooked during the engine swap, and I never did hook them back up. The heater works like it should, as so the lights, blinkers, emergency flashers, power windows....etc. The power steering is extremely smooth. The car needs a radio, wiper arms, weatherstripping and two small trim pieces. It has been sitting in the garage where a true Jaguar classic should be. It has been driven to work occasionally to keep it up.

The engine runs perfect, and cranks with no problems ever. The transmission is the factory Turbo 400, and is strong as an ox and shifts as smoothly as my 92 XJS convertible does. The new owner will not be disappointed, for I have perfect feedback, and intend on keeping it that way! The starting bid is not even a small fraction of what I have invested in this car. Good Luck, and please e-mail any questions that you may have.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
