When I purchased the vehicle I was told this car was originally a 75th birthday present for one of the original founders of 3M Corporation making this an interesting piece of history.
This 1977 Jaguar XJ-S V12 2 door coupe has only 39,726 miles. The motor is a 5.3 liter 5343cc/244 hp EFI automatic. Runs and drives well. It has only had about 600 miles put on it in the last 10 years. Before I purchased it, it was stored in a heated shed for a 10 year time frame. I have parked it in my garage since then. It has a new water pump, electric fuel pump and a new battery. The tires have less than 250 miles on them. The seats show some wear. The headliner has loose fabric. It does leak power steering fluid and the cable for the hood release needs work. Currently the dash electronics are not working.

Purchased 9/16 from Craigslist. Previous owner had passed away. Runs and drives. Appears to be all original. Repaint is very close to original color.
Odometer is not working so miles are unknown. I have only driven it for 500 miles since purchase.
