Sellers description:
1976 JAGUAR XJS; V-12 Engine, Cold AC. Here's a stunning beauty with the classic combination of luxury and styling. It is Jaguar's finest sports car. A nice example of this year and model, with some minor flaws. Drives and handles well with good pick-up and speed.

BODY:
Straight body with Midnight Blue paint., still shiny as I just has her polished. Starts right up without hesitation. Light lenses and glass are all intact and all work. It would appear that this vehicle has been garaged for most of its life. No accidents that I can see. Rubber bumpers are intact with no missing pieces or cracks. Wheels are original. No rust on the body exterior.


INTERIOR
Interior is very nice for the year with minimal damage and/or wear. Dash has only one thin longer crack (on pas. side,) and two smaller ones above the instrument cluster. Console and gauges are all intact and functioning. All chrome trim is still in good shape. Even the Jaguar emblem in the steering wheel is excellent. Power windows work, although the pas. side is a little slower. AC does blow cold which was a surprise to me, considering the age, but heater is not blowing hot. Carpet fabric is intact and worn only on driver's side and a small area on pas. side/front. Headliner and the two rear quarter panels that frame the rear window, were redone and have new material. I do have the sunvisors and will put them on (but they are not pictured). All seats and door panels were re-dyed in original tan color and look like new. Rear seats were re-done as well with new material and foam, and are comfortable. Cassette stereo works.


FLAWS:
Fabric battery cover is missing; the side black vents (behind the quarter windows) vinyl has come off in spots and has been painted; two of the wheel center caps are missing, also the aluminum is tarnished in areas; there are a couple of small dings on the body; paint was oxidized on hood, roof, and trunk lid, even after polish it still is there (a lighter blue color), see photo of hood and close-up. I would have it color sanded and polished to remove it; the front seats have seam rips on the front part of the lower cushions; I am missing the map light/dome light, and the one on the pas side (dash) is not coming on; the headliner retainer moulding is not up, I have it and will included it with the car, the fabric needs to be replaced as it has a couple of rips.; the floor pans have some surface rust; clock is not working. and the pas. exterior lock is not opening with the key, but does lock from the inside.

Comes with full size spare, jack, tools, and original owner's manual. It also has some past records and receipts. Original California Blue/Yellow Plates. Registration is expired. I have the original small pink slip/TITLE from the past owner.
