82,140 MILES, ON EBAY 05/07,
Original unrestored 1976 Jaguar XJ-S Sport Coupe. Original, completely stock V12 engine. Original mileage.
Car is completely stock, with no modifications, alterations or aftermarket stuff.
Powerful V 12 engine runs great. Always starts right up on the first crank, has a lot of power, it does not overheat, ping, knock or make funny noises. It does not use oil.
Always used Premium gas in it. It runs and drives well.
Automatic transmission works fine into all forward and reverse gears. Rearend works fine and does not chatter or make noises.
Power disc brakes stop fine and straight; it does not pull to either side. Power steering does not leak. Both power windows work.
AC needs recharge.
Body is super straight, with NO dents. Paint is faded on the upper areas as expected from the sun (after 31yrs~!), but sides are nice. That's unfortunately one of the drawbacks from silver finishes.
The only issue is a small rust spot on the driver's side flooboard as pictured. That is the only issue as far as any rust on the car.
Original wheels with good radial tires. They have about 60% thread all around.
Interior is in good shape, as pictured. Only major issue is a tear on the rear bottom seat as pictured. I got an estimate to have the whole bottom redone for $250.
Low, modest reserve for a neat old Classic Jaguar. Rare FIRST year ever made.
Car is CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLED, currently registered thru November 2007 as well.

Car has a buy it now price of $8,400 for 6 days, seller abagyon1968, car now said to be in Brno, Czech Republic.
Sellers description:
Beautiful veteran Jaguar XLS (1976) from California, so it is a left steering wheel car. I bought 8 years ago, disassembled, repainted, assembled. Engine was not open, compression is the same in each cylinder, nicely running. About the body work I have detailed photos, before, during, after. Brakes, transmission repaired, checked, working properly. Seats are newly built, black leather covered. Missing part to finish/compete is the dashboard cover and the final assembling of the interior parts (handles, switches, covers).
