This 1991 Jaguar XJS convertible is powered by a fuel-injected 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over gray leather upholstery. Features include a black soft top, cruise control, automatic climate control, an Alpine CD stereo, power windows, heated seats, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ basketweave wheels. The car spent time in several states before being acquired by the seller in 2020. This XJS convertible shows 48k miles and is now offered with owner’s manuals, a car phone, a tool kit, a removed factory stereo, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black and features a black soft top, a front spoiler, a retractable antenna, quad headlamps, fog lights, a chrome windshield surround and side mirror caps, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes scratches on the rear bumper, and photos showing blemishes in the paint.
Silver-finished 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 215/70 Michelin Harmony tires, and a full-size spare is stowed in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The heated seats feature integrated massagers and are trimmed in Doeskin Gray leather with black piping while the cabin features woodgrain trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, a car phone, an Alpine CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and power windows. A crack in the woodgrain trim is noted by the seller, and the removed stereo will accompany the car.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 5.3-liter V12 was rated at 263 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. The water pump is said to have been replaced in 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
