Car to be at auction 9/16
www.dragoneauctions.com/1994-jaguar-xjs-5-speed-coupe
Auction description:
Estimate: $10,000 - $12,000
Chassis Number: SAJNX5784RC1
Nicely Preserved Original Car
Five-Speed Manual Transmission
Sport Suspension Package
Offered here is a Grand Touring Jaguar in every sense of the word, a 1994 Jaguar XJS Coupe that has had just two owners since new and still wears its original Flamenco Red Mica paint. As a luxury car it also features all of the comforts one would expect in a car of this pedigree with power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, and a gorgeous leather interior. Although built with all of the comfort and extravagance one would expect from Jaguar, this XJS remains true to its performance roots with a five-speed manual transmission mated to its four-liter inline six cylinder rated at 223 horsepower. Stopping power is precise with four-wheel disc brakes and this XJS is also fitted with Jaguar's optional sport suspension package for better handling on the open road. This interior is just what a Grand Touring car should be with a sea of fine tan leather, furniture grade woodwork, and plush carpeting for a truly comfortable feel. The fit and finish of this fine XJS demands that it be driven, but it's beautifully preserved condition would also make it a welcome addition to any show of fine motorcars.
As a beautifully preserved car from 1994, this Jaguar represents a significant chapter of Jaguar's heritage in fine fashion. Quite simply, the XJS is a comfortable car that offers complete reliability in a level of luxury that very few cars can offer. This XJS also has its Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate that attests to its authenticity. With its nicely preserved condition and excellent road manners, this XJS coupe is a car that's more than ready for show or go.
