Ebay item 12/8/16
www.ebay.com/itm/1994-Jaguar-XJS-2-DR-Coupe-/162310133050
Current bid US $1,180 reserve not met 8 bids 4 days left in auction, seller alfisti911, 125k miles.
Sellers description:
Selling my 1994 jaguar XJS. I do not drive it much and she deserves more attention and drive time. The car is in great shape mechanically and cosmetically with some minor flaws that I have tried to show in the video. It runs great and all the mechanicals and power options work as they should including the sunroof.
The engine runs smoothly and the transmission shifts well. Interior is in remarkable condition including the wood veneer. The rims are in excellent shape with new tires.
It has power heated seats.
The car has been maintained by just jags the premier Jaguar maintenance facility in Indianapolis by its previous owner.
There's minor corrosion at the jacking point on the driver side.
That is the only area of rust that I have found in the car. The spare tire is new. There are two minor issues I am aware of with the car. Sometimes when the car is started the transmission warning light comes on. It goes away every single time if the engine is turned off and restarted.
The second minor issue I'm aware of is that if the car sits for a few days it will blow a puff of smoke on start up. That clears immediately and the car does not burn oil. I believe this is probably due to the valve guide seals because the car has been sitting. I believe this will clear up with some use.

Opening bid US $3,000, no bids 6 days left in auction seller scout7004, 135k miles. Car now said to be in Evanston, Illinois.
Sellers description:
This is a fantastic car - it is a late version with the bulletproof 4 liter straight six. Serviced by Imports Unlimited in Highland Park it has new tires + battery, from brakes and more (enclosing recent service records. This car is also special because it has a sunroof - that is a rarity. Everything works but the cruise control and the A/C - compressor turns but there's a blockage somewhere. Paint is decent, it has it's shares of dings and scratches, there's no body rust but some passenger floor board. Interior is nice shape with original radio and oem cd changer in trunk (sketchy). I've never got more attention in a car ever. I just picked it up from winter storage in Lincoln Nebraska. Jumped the battery and drove 8 hours at 90mph in 95 degree heat. Perfect. Heres what it needs: there is a significant vibration in steering wheel while braking between 40-50 mph but nothing the rest of the time. I did the front brakes and machined rotors last year - might be warped. One mechanic says it need a rear tranny mount but i don't think that's the problem. The transmission goes into limp mode in the heat - it drives perfectly when it's not. The best tranny guy I know says the tranny is fine and it's an electrical thing - possibly the tps. it often goes out with a restart but it drive well even with light on - but shifts a little rough. I have no place to store her and have a newer Jag for work. this could be pretty perfect wit a little work and dough. i am the third owner. i sorta hope no one responds to this ad - i love this thing. This car has never failed me.
