The seller presents this 4.0-liter 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 coupe as “unmodified, rust-free, and immaculate,” with an odometer reading of nearly 86,000 miles, which he believes to be accurate, and no mechanical issues to report. The Carfax appears to confirm the mileage and three-owner history.
The paint on this car, officially known as Glacier White II, is described as “excellent,” with no blemishes or dents. The glass and seals are also described as “excellent,” with no evidence of leaks. Photos of the underside show only light spots of surface oxidation. All lighting works, per the seller.
The XJS interior was made more luxurious in its later years, with more generous use of the genuine burled walnut trim that Jag owners preferred. The trim in this car appears to be in excellent condition, per the photos. The “SRS” badge on the passenger’s side of the dash indicates a dual-airbag car. The Barley leather upholstery appears to be in very good condition, with the seller affirming that there are no rips, holes, or worn spots. The carpeting gets a similar report, and the headliner also shows as being in excellent condition. Both the heat and air conditioning are said to work, as do the instrument panel gauges, and power windows and door locks, but the original radio does not. In photos, the carpeted trunk appears as being as new, and a CD changer can be seen, but the seller does not know if it would work with a new or repaired audio head unit.
The seller confirms that there are no issues with the suspension, brakes, and power-assisted steering, and there are no leaks reported.
The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean Virginia title in his name. Additional paperwork includes service documentation going back about 10 years. This 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 coupe comes from near the end of the model run, when many enthusiasts feel the design, performance, and quality was at its best. This example appears to have been well maintained and would seemingly look good in London, Beverly Hills, or any place in between.
