This 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible was sold new in Florida and remained registered in the state through the seller’s acquisition in 2017. It is a non-running project that was placed in long-term storage under current ownership and it has not been started since 2021. Finished in Flamenco Red over Barley leather, the car is equipped with a 4.0-liter inline-six, a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, disc brakes, 16″ alloy wheels, a beige power-operated soft top, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, an onboard computer, and a Sony CD stereo. This XJS convertible shows 152k miles and is offered at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished under previous ownership in Flamenco Red. Exterior details include a power-operated beige soft top, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, a power-retractable antenna, factory-tinted taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. The Carfax report references a damage report in December 2008 with no additional information. The seller notes that there is a crack in the top right-hand corner on the passenger side of the windshield, and some areas of damage on the lower front bumper cover and left fender. They add that the top boot mounting tabs are sun-damaged, and that top material separating from the heated glass rear window needs reattaching to the lower section of the window frame.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with mismatched tires that require replacement. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The power-adjustable front seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in Barley leather. Appointments include driver position memory, air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, power windows, and a Sony CD stereo linked to a trunk-mounted Hifonics amplifier. Wear is visible throughout the interior, the passenger seat is not secured to the floor, and the woodgrain trim needs refinishing.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 152k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
The car is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
