This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Celebration Edition convertible was acquired by the seller in 2021, and it now shows 34k miles. The car is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Carnival Red over cream leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ wire-spoke wheels, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, an Alpine head unit, and automatic climate control. This XJS convertible is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Carnival Red and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar leaper hood ornament, chrome side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. There are paint chips in the front lip spoiler, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 16″ wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 225/60 Cooper tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Cream leather. Interior amenities include cruise control, an Alpine head unit, air conditioning, power windows, and automatic climate control.
The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 34k miles miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory-rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
