The sad part is she hit a trash bin and caused more damage to the car then the insurance covered. She decided to fix the car and keep it as a *SALVAGE TITLE*. She took the insurance check and had the car returned to its beautiful state by GoldenHammer of Beverly Hills. All records available.

This is a dear to heart rescue cat that sat in Malibu California by first owner for a decade, all the time with official service records from Santa Monica Jaguar and Range Rover. Acquired about 3 years ago, only added 1500 miles on it from about when it was 29K miles, right now at 30,800+- Miles . Now selling to fund my woodworking business. I am a jaguar fan, have an XK with 30K miles as well, and do all my work with my hands. Everything under the hood is in top shape. People say it feels like a Toyota Prius Electric car, because there is no vibration from the engine or transmission at a red light. Technically they both have great mounts and suspension designs. It’s a gorgeous car, Drive it cross country or as daily driver, a joy to drive, but not perfect like with leather, couple things here and there.

Starts, runs, accelerates, brakes, and corners like it should (and wonderfully).

Working power top with leather cowl in great condition.

No check engine light. Electronics are fine and cleaned according to Kirby's XJS Book (If you don't know about this PDF book, a great manual for enthusiasts of this car - please google it if you become the owner)

Title in hand, Smog check passes no problem.

Top-quality Ferrari AMG battery, Tires in half life wear, front shocks and front and rear brake pads replaced. ((((I have new rotors that I haven't installed as it is not urgent to, but will come with the car.)))))

Air filter replaced 1500 miles ago.

The first owner was an older lady and because this car is a low sports car, she ran the bumper over a curb and insurance assessed the car as salvage for repairs. There is no damage to car except the split on the front bumper. I cleaned up the front bumper but it still has the split. just never had the time to fix and it is not very noticeable. Either way, she made the car go into salvage title, by agreeing with insurance, and this is supported by Carfax, AutoCheck - NO MAJOR ACCIDENTS. 

Custom elegant stereo set up with a a integrated kicker sub (custom made at my woodworking shop - will add more pics for this), and jbl class d amp. not loud bass, but to complete the sound. I am a big audiophile, so this car also has the speakers replaced with top of the like kicker and infiniti speakers. I bought the head unit that looks kind of classic and has bluetooth, but its not the most amazing this. However, the original head unit with cassette player is boxed up,  incase you want to swap back to the original stereo. (it does look so elegant either way, but the original stereo and its buttons are pretty cool).

Comes with original owner’s package, some service records & receipts, service manuals, and vehicle history report.

Notes:

It shows some age in various places.

Spare tire is missing.

Didn't clean the engine bay - I took photos of exactly how the engine bay looks after 2 years of use. So you can see exactly the it does not leak, does sweat so very little, and I don't have to top off oil. Dry on the bottom.
