This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible is finished in Topaz Metallic paint over Oatmeal leather upholstery, and power is provided by a 4.0-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a dark brown soft top, air conditioning, cruise control, a cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, power-adjustable heated front seats, and 16″ alloy wheels. The car was acquired in 2020 by the seller, who has since added 1k of the 43k indicated miles. The four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 43k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The 4.0-liter AJ16 inline-six features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque. Fuel injection and throttle body services, a tune-up, and an oil change are said to have been performed under current ownership along with the replacement of the oxygen sensors, belts, and thermostat.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a ZF four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was reportedly resealed and the differential fluid was serviced during current ownership.
