Ebay item 7/28/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Jaguar-XJS/283562219273
Current bid: $4,500 no reserve, 2 bids 6 days left in auction, seller masshle, 128k miles.

Seller's description:
Selling my 95 Jaguar XJS convertible. I have owned this for the past 3 years I bought this from an older retired couple who had owned it for a while. It runs great I just have 6 vehicles at this time for just my wife and I and this gets driven the least so I would like to sell it. Since owning it I had it checked out and only have had to tune it up with fresh spark plugs and replaced the valve cover gasket. When I bought it like most of these old Jag's the front bumper cover and rear bumper cover were cracked and beat up. These are hard to find and very expensive. I found a guy in LA parting out a 95 v12 and bought the front bumper cover and the spoiler from him. I found the rear bumper cover from dealer in Florida. I then had the parts installed and had the paint chips fixed and a new coat of factory Blue done. It is a very nice paint job, not a 10K show quality but it looks really good and the body is great. I have a bunch of the service records from the previous owners that I will include. This car was sold new in Texas and had the complete electrical system gone through and fixed as this was a common issue for these old Jags. The car drives great there are some minor issues that I will mention. The fuel gauge sometimes gets stuck for a minute and then corrects itself, the power side mirrors do not work but can be adjusted by hand, the parking break is weak when engaged it works fine for putting the top up and down but the car would roll if put in drive, and when I put the top down I reach back and help give the top a little push to clear the back seats otherwise it may get stuck. It goes up just fine. The lights on the og stereo are dim the stereo and 6 changer cd work fine. Again this is a great driver and fun car.

The fuel gauge is the one that sows the level in the tank it does not effect the engine in anyway. It most likely is something to do with the float in the tank.
