Sellers description:
This is probably the most collectible Jaguar XJS available worldwide. A collector's dream car. As far as I can tell it is the lowest mileage XJS remaining. This car should not be used as a daily driver but enjoyed and driven regularly (as it has been) especially at club events, rallies and concours, which it will win in its amazing essentially new car condition. This will ensure that it remains an appreciating asset as good examples of these cars are beginning to rise in value and are predicted to increase substantially over the next few years, especially in Europe and the UK. This car is in as new original unrestored condition. It is a "Celebration" model being in the last of the 21 year production run of the Jaguar XJS.
This is a time warp car. Despite its very low mileage it is run regularly for at least 10 miles every 2 weeks or so. Dry stored in a temperature controlled garage, every item looks and functions as it should. Virtually a new car. The leather seats are embossed with the Jaguar Logo and finished with contrasting piping. The tonneau cover is leather. All original books and tools are with the car. I am the second owner after an elderly gentleman who cared for it for its first 14 years. Interior is unmarked with beautiful dark wood unaffected by UV light, Finished in the most desirable colour combination of Carnival Red and cream interior with a beige top. I do not have the history from the first owner but it is reconstructable from Jaguar of North America and Jaguar HeritageTrust has the factory build notes for the car. Carfax testifies to correct mileage as does the condition. Must be the finest available.
