Vehicle Description

For sale here today we have a beautiful example of a beautiful and classic car, the 1995 Jaguar XJS Convertible. This wonderful 2 owner (female) car is clean as a whistle and straight as an arrow, and with a paltry 34,xxx original miles! For those of you who can appreciate the gorgeous lines, pleasant road going condition, and classic performance of a Jaguar of this vintage than this is definitely the car for you.

The car has been meticulously maintained all its life and it shows from end to end. The interior is 100% original, and has never been dyed or repaired. The paint is 100% original as well and is an easy 9/10 in its current state, only bearing the most minor of knicks to be expected of a 15 year old car. The convertible top is flawless as can be seen in the pictures and still moves up and down perfectly which can often be a problem with these cars.

In preparation for sale the owner had a thorough check done of the vehicle and all its components. A car in this beautiful of shape certainly didn’t need much, but an amount of preventative maintenance and minor repairs were completed including:

Complete rebuild of the Air Conditioning system. Blows fast and cold!

Replaced all bushings
Installed new tires
Replaced brake pads and rotors
Installed new battery

The car also has every original component that came with it from the factory including

All original keys
All original manuals / books
Service book w/ leather Jaguar case
Factory Radio

The fact that the car still retains all these items tells a tale of a Jaguar that has been truly loved and unmolested, and those truths are taken so much further when you get behind the wheel. Still drives like it did off the showroom floor, and when driving with the top down it still gets the amount of looks I’m sure it did in ’95.

Set at a very, very reasonable reserve (and I do mean reasonable!) there is a FANTASTIC deal to be had here for the lucky bidder. Whoever gets to take this one home will absolutely not be disappointed. With its mileage, classic lines, performance, and wonderful condition this car is a winning combination indeed. Thank you for looking, and happy bidding!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
