Clean Carfax Report
This 1990 Jaguar XJS is finished in Diamond Blue over a blue leather interior and is powered by a 5.3L V12 paired with a GM-sourced automatic transmission. The car previously resided in California, West Virginia, Ohio, and Wisconsin before coming to the seller in Pennsylvania in 2019. The selling dealer has performed an inspection as well as an oil and filter change in preparation for the sale. This XJS is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The exterior is finished in Diamond Blue, and the car retains factory US-market lighting and bumpers with black rubberized impact pads. The seller reports that the left rear quarter panel has been repainted, and describes scratches and areas of oxidation elsewhere in the finish.
The 15″ basketweave alloy wheels are fitted with Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires measuring 235/60. The spare is shown in the trunk under a carpeted cover.
The cabin is upholstered in blue leather contrasted by burl wood veneers on the dash, doors, and center console. The carpets are a slightly lighter blue, and are protected by a set of floor mats adorned with the Leaper logo. The factory airbag steering wheel and T-handle shifter have been retained, though a later single-DIN stereo has been installed in the factory location.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and rotating auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the cluster. 72k miles are shown on the 6-digit mechanical odometer.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque for the US market, and is coupled with a GM-sourced automatic transmission. The selling dealer recently performed an inspection as well as an oil and filter change.
The Carfax report shows ownership in California, West Virginia, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Produced for over twenty years with minimal changes, the XJS was a huge hit for Jaguar. Offering unique and seductive styling, powerful engines, and the legendary Jaguar heritage, over 115k rolled off the production line, not bad for a very expensive car. The vast majority of the cars were coupes, but a portion were made into convertibles, but the production numbers were unknown, which adds to the cool Jaguar mystique.
