Services performed in June 2018 included a new alternator and battery, as well as new brake pads and fresh fluids.

This 1993 Jaguar XJS shows 58k miles and is finished in white over a tan leather interior. The car was acquired by the seller through a BaT auction in June 2019, following which it was brought from Quebec to its current home of Texas. Subsequent service included replacement of the tires, thermostat, fan clutch, and fuel system components as well as a transmission service, oil change, radiator cleaning, and air conditioning recharge. This XJS is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a 2019 concours trophy, clean Carfax reports, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Glacier White (NDP) and features fog lamps and bright wheel arch trim as well as late-model flush headlights and wraparound taillights. Paint touch-ups were noted in the previous auction. Painted 15″ basketweave wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires installed by the seller. The brake pads were replaced under previous ownership in 2018.

The cabin is trimmed in tan doeskin leather with gray carpets and features burl wood accents on the dash, doors, and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable seats with lumbar support and driver’s position memory, a factory cassette player, a driver’s airbag, and cruise control.

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller.

The aluminum 4.0-liter AJ6 inline-six was serviced by Victor’s Service Center of San Antonio, Texas in February 2020 with a new thermostat and fan clutch as well as replacement of the fuel pump, filter, sending unit, and related wiring. The air conditioning system has also been recharged and changes of the oil, transmission fluid and filter, and air filter carried out under current ownership. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.

The March 2020 Carfax report shows history in Ontario, Quebec, Texas, and Florida and lists no accidents or other damage from May 1983 to July 2019. The seller has also provided a Canadian Carfax report.

The car is supplied with an owner’s manual and other manufacturer’s literature, service records, a trunk-mounted spare wheel, and a second-place SC Region Championship Division trophy awarded in 2019 by the Jaguar Clubs of North America.

The car was purchased by the seller on BaT in March 2020, and subsequent service involved replacement of the valve cover gasket, air conditioning blower, water pump, distributor cap and rotor, shocks and springs, rear brake pads and rotors, and drive belts. This XJS shows 64k miles and is offered in Arizona with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The stereo was replaced in October 2020 and retrofitted with a satellite radio tuner, and the air conditioning HVAC module and blower units were replaced in January 2021. The driver seat, driver door pull, and center console were repaired and refinished in June 2021. There is damage to the front seat belt buckles.

A Moto Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel was added by the seller and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 5k miles of which were added by the seller.

The 4.0-liter DOHC inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Service in October 2020 included replacement of the distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs as well as the water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, heater hoses, and drive belts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The differential pinion seal was replaced in October 2020.

Manufacturer’s literature, two sets of keys, service records, and first and second place Concours trophies are included in the sale.
