This 1990 Jaguar XJS was sold new by Cherry Hill Classic Cars in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and moved to Ohio with the next owner before its acquisition by the selling dealer. Power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in red over tan leather. Recent service consisted of a power steering rack and pinion replacement. Now showing just under 36k miles, this XJS is being offered by the selling dealer with a stamped service booklet, owner’s manuals, factory literature, boot cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The exterior is finished in Signal Red with hand-painted pin striping, with paint meter readings and body VIN tags. The September 2019 Carfax report shows no accident or damage repair. The convertible top is shown in the raised and lowered positions.
The car retains factory lighting and US-market bumpers with black impact pads. Factory 15″ basketweave wheels wear Pirelli P600 tires measuring 235/60 all around, and the selling dealer indicates they should be replaced due to age.
The interior is trimmed in tan leather with a matching center console and door panels accented by burl wood trim and a contrasting black dash pad. The selling dealer notes some wear on the driver’s side bolster.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the cluster. The 6-digit odometer shows just under 36k miles, with a handful being added by the selling dealer.
The 5.3-liter V12 was originally rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque for the US market, and it is paired with a GM-sourced three-speed automatic transmission. Recent maintenance reportedly consisted of replacing the power steering rack and pinion.
