Car to be at auction 3/14
www.auctionsamerica.com/events/feature-lots.cfm

Auction description:
Fort Lauderdale
1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible
Estimate: $ 8,000 - $ 12,000

To be offered on March 14-16, 2014

Chassis no. SAJNW4849LC169179
The Jaguar XJS being offered is an original Florida car that is neatly finished in red with black leather interior, black soft-top and top boot. The convertible top is new, as is the compressor for the air conditioning system. The Jaguar is powered by its 5.3-liter, 263-hp V-12 engine with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it has received a recent tune-up. Power windows and door locks, plus four-wheel disc brakes with ABS are all standards for this fine car, as are many other trim elements and conveniences. The car's spare, jack and books accompany the car, and it rides on 16-inch factory alloy wheels with Goodyear tires.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
