This 1992 Jaguar XJS convertible is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Flamenco Red over tan leather upholstery. Equipment includes fog lights, a power-retractable black soft top, polished 15″ basketweave wheels, power-adjustable sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a JVC stereo. The current owner acquired the car in 2023 following an interior and mechanical refurbishment in 2020. This XJS convertible shows 60k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Flamenco Red and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The underside of the hood was refinished and the soft top was replaced in October 2020. Areas of touch-up paint are present on the trunk lid.
Polished 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, components of which were replaced in October 2020. Additional service at that time included overhauling the front and rear suspension, replacing the front wheel bearings, and installing Bilstein dampers.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats that were reupholstered in tan leather under previous ownership. Interior amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, and a Bluetooth JVC stereo. The selling dealer notes the center console wood trim was replaced and the air ventilation flap makes noise upon startup.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 60k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Service in October 2020 included changing the oil and replacing the valve cover gaskets, water pump, ignition system components, cooling system hoses, air conditioning receiver drier, and the heater control valve.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Exhaust components were replaced and the differential was overhauled in October 2020.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with service records and a car cover.
