This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible is an unmodified example with 79k miles. Presented in white over blue Connolly leather interior with a blue top, the car is powered by 5.3L HE V12 paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller has owned it for three and a half years and 3,000 miles, and a binder is included with all service records from new. Fitted with factory chrome wire wheels, the car has reportedly scored well in local Jaguar Club Concours events. This XJS was serviced in January 2017 in preparation for the sale and is sold with original books, manuals, a car cover, and a clean Kentucky title in the sellers name.
The white over blue combination shows well, and the body is said to be solid with no significant defects or rust issues. According to the Carfax, the car experienced some minor rear end damage in 2012 while with the previous owner. The seller has not been able to find any evidence of the incident, and the finish looks good with some age-related patina.
All chrome, rubber, and plastic trim parts appear to be well preserved. A new blue convertible top was installed seven years ago and features a glass rear window. It raises and lowers without issue. The interior presents well and is further detailed in the photo gallery. Connolly blue leather seats and door panels show in nicely preserved condition with little wear. The thick carpet and convertible top headliner also appear to be in good shape.
The 5.3 liter High Efficiency V12 is said to be original, and it reportedly starts and runs smoothly. The car is said to have been well-maintained, with service visits noted in the Carfax and a binder that includes all records from new. A full tune up was performed just before the seller's purchase, and he has serviced it twice since. The 4-speed automatic transmission performs as expected, and the seller notes there is some minor oil weeping present.

Car returns to ebay 9/22/21
Current bid: $3,570 reserve not met 9 bids 7 days left in auction, seller the_german_guy, 83k miles, car now said to be in Orlando, Florida, previously Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
Seller's description:
Beautiful Jaguar XJS V12 convertible in a fantastic condition.
The car has a beautiful, almost flawless original white paint and was always garage kept. It features stunning wire wheels and blue leather interior. The wood trim is in perfect condition and the center console wood has been recently replaced. This car has been regularly maintained by a Jaguar specialist. No expenses have been spared to keep the Jaguar in an excellent condition. During my ownership it received the following:
auxiliary air valve has been replaced
new fuel pump
new coolant temperature sensors
new thermostats and gaskets
new window motors and switches
intake manifolds and fuel lines have been resealed
valve cover gaskets were replaced
blower speed controller was rebuild
new heater valve
new battery
Engine starts right away and runs very smooth. No lights on the dash. Power top, windows, air conditioning and everything else works as it should be.
Some minor imperfections: the upper leather on the drivers side door is a little bit worn out, please see the pic. The upper leather on the passenger side door has a small puncture, please see the pic. The car was used as an occasional weekend driver and I only put 4,000 miles on it in the last five years. It comes with all manuals, keys and a binder full of service records since new.
Clean Florida title in my name.
The car has won the second place in a concours d’elegance by the Jaguar clubs of North America a couple of years ago.
