7,270 MILES, ON EBAY 05/07
An absolutely exceptional and virtually flawless example of this original family owner's classic 1990 5.3L V12 roadster with only 7,270 original miles - YES, thats right - 7,270 original actual miles! Gorgeous combination of original factory metallic bronze color paint with painted factory pin stripes, perfect condition matching color factory canvas power soft top with original matching tonneau cover and beautiful doeskin tan leather interior! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner! Purchased by original owner in 1990 from 'Sovereign Jaguar' of Long Island, New York with all original dealer service manuals and handbooks still available. Transfered from father to daughter and transfered to southern California in 10/2003 with only 5,351 original miles! Always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accident damage whatsoever with all original parts and paint, obviously owned by only very careful and mature drivers since new - never abused, babied all the way! The original factory paint is in excellent condition with only the most minor of imperfections, if any, noticeable upon very close inspection. The original tan leather seats are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear, there are no cracks in the dashboard or the walnut veneer and the door panels and the carpets are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear. The interior is also completely original with it's 'Jaguar' radio/cassette system and all the options and guages are working as they should including the ice-cold A/C. Powered by one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5,344 c.c. V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should - no shakes or rattles - very smooth and powerful - drives the same as when it left the showroom floor over 17 years ago! The car is in a virtual 'time-warp', having covered only 7,270 miles in the hands of one very fastidious family owner. With a new car smell as confirmation, this must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desireable and collectable V12 Jaguar roadster - probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - a sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply 'pride of place' in any astute classic car collector's collection! You will certainly look long and hard to find a finer example of this extremely low mileage always garaged and rust free V12 roadster available anywhere else.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
