Sellers description:
1990 Jaguar XJS V-12 Convertible 91k Mi. "No Reserve Auction"

Gorgeous "Racing Green"

Interior: Biscuit (tan)

Convertible Top: Black canvas top

Convertible Boot: Black

Serial Number:SAJNW4847LC168029

Mileage:91,194 (driven an average of 4000 miles a year)

Engine: Original Jaguar V-12, 5.3 liter (326cid) 260hp

Transmission: GM orig. 3/speed TH400

Factory rated top speed at 144mph (RWD)

This gorgeous V-12 Jaguar convertible was built in limited quanities by Jaguar in Coventry England.

Earlier 1980's Jaguar convertibles were a conversion from Hess & Eisenhardt.

The top is fully electric and when the switch is pressed to lower the convertible top it also lowers the two rear windows.

The process is reversed when the top is raised.

The passenger and driver's window are raised and lowered with a switch

This car has it's original working factory radio. It is AM/FM/Stereo/cassette.

There are some small thin cracks in the wood over the glove box area.

The paint has some tiny blemishes but looks very good considering this car is 21 years old.

The interior and convertible top are in nice condition as well.

The car has no smell or indication that any of it's prior owners might have been a smoker.

The auto check report is clean and their is no apparent indication that this car might have been involved in a serious car accident.

All the tires are new as is the battery.

I recently had the air-conditioning compressor & dryer replaced and the accumulator. Belts & hoses were also replaced as needed.

The total amount spent on the service just done last week at Precision Automotive was $1500.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
