Low Miles Very nice Jaguar
The XJ-S is a distinguished luxury grand tourer produced by Jaguar from 1975 to 1996, notable for its striking rear buttresses and aerodynamic design principles partly influenced by Malcolm Sayer. Although Sayer passed away before the design was finalized, his legacy is evident in the car’s unique appearance. Initially available as a coupe, followed by a two-seat XJ-SC targa-type model, convertible buyers had to wait until they were available in 1988. From July 1981, the model received a High-Efficiency V12 engine, improving both performance and fuel economy, with power output increased to 263 horsepower in North America. This update also brought aesthetic changes, including body-colored boot trim, chrome bumper inserts, and luxurious burled elm interior trims, which together elevated the car’s elegance and refined driving experience.
