Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible shows 29k miles and is finished in Diamond Blue over an Isis Blue leather interior. Power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a power-operated top, cruise control, a trip computer, and automatic climate control. The car spent the last 22 years in Ohio before its acquisition by the selling dealer two months ago. This XJS is now offered in Mahwah, New Jersey, with some service records, factory literature, two sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The car is finished with a blue convertible top that the selling dealer states has been replaced. Touch-ups are present on the rear quarter panels, and the selling dealer has included paint meter readings in the gallery below. Exterior equipment includes fog lights and US-spec rubber-capped bumpers.
Factory 15″ wheels feature Jaguar center caps and wear Pirelli P600 tires. The rear tires are reportedly new, while the fronts were manufactured in 2012.
The interior is upholstered in Isis Blue leather with burl wood trim on the dashboard, doors, and center console. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a and the cruise control bellows are said to have been recently replaced. The selling dealer notes a scratch on the center console and a worn convertible headliner. Equipment includes a Jaguar cassette deck, cruise control, and heated front seats.
Instrumentation includes a bank of drum-style secondary gauges, a 160-mph speedometer, and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Approximately 29k miles are shown on the six-digit odometer, less than 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
For the US market, the 5.3-liter V12 engine made 262 horsepower when new. It is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Recent service is said to include new brake fluid, new drive belts, and an oil change.
The Carfax report starts in 1997, shows registration history in Ohio, and indicates no accidents or damage.
