This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible was acquired by the seller in Connecticut in 1999 and was relocated to Florida in 2009. The car is finished in Signal Red over Barley leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a tan soft top with a heated glass rear window, fog lights, 15″ basketweave wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, a factory AM/FM cassette stereo with remote CD changer, and power-operated seats, windows, and door locks. Service in December 2021 is said to include replacement of the clutch master cylinder and hood latch cable, renewing the brake fluid, and performing an oil change. This XJS is offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, a neon Jaguar sign, a black top boot, three sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Red (748) and features a tan soft top with a heated glass rear window, chrome trim, fog lights, tinted wrap-around taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. A black top boot will accompany the car.
Silver-finished 15″ basketweave wheels wear Jaguar center caps and are mounted with 235/60 Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The seller states the brake fluid was changed in December 2021.
The interior is upholstered in Barley leather and features woodgrain trim on the dashboard and door-panels. Appointments include power adjustable seats, power windows and locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard multi-display computer, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo with trunk-mounted CD changer. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a refrigerant, and a recent service is said to have included replacing the right and left climate control blower modules.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 12k of which have been added by the seller.
The 4.0-liter AJ6 inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Service in December 2021 reportedly included an oil change and the replacement of the clutch slave cylinder and hood latch cable.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate shows the factory colors, drivetrain numbers, and a build date of March 4th, 1993.
Included in the sale is a neon Jaguar sign, service records, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, factory service manuals, and three Jaguar hardcover books, along with miscellaneous XJS articles and three sets of keys.
