This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible has been registered in Colorado and Texas since new and was acquired from its first owner by the seller in 2006. Now indicating 24k miles, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Glacier White over Beige leather. A power-retractable beige soft top is fitted along with a limited-slip differential, fog lights, bright 15″ basketweave wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a cassette stereo linked to aftermarket speakers. Service since 2021 has included oil changes, a brake fluid flush, and replacement of the fuel filter, spark plugs, and front shock bushings. This XJS convertible is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Glacier White and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna.
Bright 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 235/60 Cooper Cobra tires installed in 2017. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The wheel bearings were lubricated, the front shock bushings were replaced, and the brake fluid was flushed in 2021.
The sport seats are upholstered in Beige leather. Interior amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, and a radio/cassette/CD Changer stereo linked to aftermarket speakers. Service in 2015 consisted of replacing the air conditioning compressor, receiver-dryer, and expansion valve. The driver-side power seat adjustment does not work.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were replaced in 2021, and an oil change and fuel filter replacement were performed in 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
