Offered here is an English timepiece. This 1986 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe is most likely the cleanest and most original XJS you will find on the market. This car was purchased new from DeNooyer Jaguar of Kalamazoo, MI. The car was purchased by the current owner in 1994. He is also the owner of West Michigan Imports, a highly reputable English mechanic. Of all the cars he's seen and worked on over the years, this car has been his prized possession and is immaculate inside and out. It has zero rust and zero boy or major mechanical repairs ever made. EVERYTHING is original - paint, interior, engine, tranny, etc. The steering wheel is a Sport wheel but we have the original as well. The only thing that has been upgraded is the AC system to the new R-134a.

The car is finished in the original, unmolested and not ever repainted Sebring Red (CDJ) paint over a Biscuit (ADE) leather interior. 1986 was the last year Jaguar painted the XJS in Sebring Red. The car is powered by the original 5.3L/262hp V12 front-mounted engine mated to a 3-speed automatic gearbox with rear-wheel drive. It starts, runs, and drives like the day it rolled off the DeNooyer showroom floor. Other noteworthy features include dual exhaust, Bosch fog lights, pristine chrome finishes, wood trim, sport steering wheel, power windows, cruise control, original radio with tape deck, and even the vanity mirror hidden in the glovebox (see photos). The car also comes with the original spare tire, original tool kit, ALL original books, manuals, XJS audio tapes, and ALL sets of keys from the factory.

This truly is a survivor Jaguar. It has been routinely maintained by an English motors expert and preserved to the highest standard of originality. With collectibility values on the rise recently (see photos), this is a great investment at the price offered here. You WILL NOT find another XJS in an original condition as clean and well-kept as this.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely 1986 XJS for your consideration. This large V12 powered coupe is finished in Sebring Red and is in excellent shape. The paint is very nice, with lots of gloss and just a few minor chips. The body is very straight, with factory badging, excellent chrome, factory alloy wheels, and Bosch driving lights. The interior is excellent, with tan leather seats and classy trim. The car is well equipped, with power windows, power locks, power antenna, sports steering wheel, trip computer, cruise control, air condition, and stereo. The car runs and drives very well and it glides down the road and the 5.3L V12 is smooth and powerful. It is said to produce around 265hp and is mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The engine has electronic fuel injection and is the high compression model which was introduced in 1981. This car has been very well taken care of and has been with the same family since 1995. The car has had just three owners since new and has lots of service history and comes with a pair of keys.
