Runs beautifully.
Interior in very good condition. No rips or tears in seats. Front seats were recovered at some point. Back seat leather finish is wearing. One crack in dash (see pic). Some cracks in wood lacquer.
Paint is okay. I polished it with an aggressive compound today and it's showing it's age (British paint).
Engine is strong and runs very well. Has several upgrades: urethane steering bushings, GM alternator, gear reduction starter.
There is a small oil leak up front (it wouldn't be an English car without an oil leak). I think it may be an oil cooler line or something.
The a/c was upgraded, but I've never been able to get it to work. Blower works.
I've had the car almost three years and love it. I have too many cars and need to liquidate so I can finish the restoration of my '64 Jaguar S-type.

I am a JCNA member and Jaguar enthusiast.
Selling my 1986 Jaguar XJS, British Racing Green with tan interior. I am relocating to Oregon soon and cannot take this car with me. Looking to sell quickly, so there is no reserve.
Driven reliably from NJ to Virginia, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania in the past several years. One of the brake lines is leaking, and I don't have the time or money to fix it. There is some rust as well, as shown in the pictures.
I am ready to sell this car to another enthusiast who can use it as a running parts car or drive it as-is.
