Current bid $1,111 reserve not met, 4 bids 4 days left in auction. Car has a buy it now price of $2,800.
Sellers description:
Jaguar XJ-S H.E. 5.3L V12 coupe. A great running car with a great ride. Truly a grand tourer! This is an all original car.
This fine automobile is a great driver, great for a restoration project. I have only owned this car for a short time, purchased for restoration, but now my priorities have changed. The car is Cirrus Gray with Black Interior. Body has a few rust bubbles but overall very solid. Some minor dings and some damage on the front of the bonnet. The trunk bottom lip is corroded. The rear chrome bumper have some rust on the top surfaces, and new rear bumper chrome is included with the sale.
The seat leather will require replacement, the console and carpets are overall in good shape. The a/c blows but is not cooling. The fuel gauge and alternator gauge are inoperative, the other gauges and all lights are working properly.
The car is a very solid driver. The big V12 starts first time, and the engine rolls out smooth. At 60-70 mph the car is extraordinarily solid and true, no pull, tracks where directed, is smooth without vibration, and no squeaks or rattles. Quite a tourer!
This is a good driver and a very restorable car.
