Ebay item 12/27/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jagauar-XJ-V12-Coupe-California-Car-Clean-Title-2-Owners ...
Current bid $1,075 reserve not met, 18 bids 3 days left in auction. Buy it now price $3,800. 89k miles.

Sellers description:
This car was originally sold to a female owner from the famed Hollywood Sports Cars in Hollywood, California. The car has spent its entire life in Southern California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. About 13 years ago the original owner passed away and the car was sold, but put in storage. About a year ago my cousin purchased the car as we would be living on campus at a local college, so we went through the motions of having the car brought back to driving condition. The car has had the following inspected, or replaced by Vanecek Automotive in Alta Loma, CA. New power steering rack, new power steering hoses, new vacuum lines (nearly 20 ft), new cap and rotor, oil change, break inspection, master cylinder repaired. new Falken tires all around, new battery, new fuel pump, new smog pump, new fuel filter, new plugs, new power window switches.

The car starts and runs very well, recently passed smog in California, and is completely unmodified, it is original down to the owners manual, and fog lamp covers, (with the exception of the radio, that needs to be replaced) please look at the pictures closesly, while the car is stunning it does have minor bumps, dings, and scratches, as is expected on a 25 year old car. There is a small (less than the size of a dime) rip in the headliner, and the passenger sun visor needs a new clip, the majority of the wood dash shows well, but as is common on these models there is some minor pealing. The new steering rack and hoses exposed a flaw in the power steering pump and a slight leak is now coming from the pump itself. The fuel gauge does not work, however, we were told the issue is the float and we have already purchased the part and will include it with the car. The speedometer works from time to time, according to our mechanic there is a simple fix. These Emergency break does not seem to function, and the A/C blows, but he mechanic said it would be best to just replace the hoses before attempting to recharge it.

My cousins college plans changed and he is attending another school and living on campus so about three months ago he left the car in my care and has now asked me to sell it.

1986 Jaguar XJS COUPE. Drives very well, good suspension, transmission shift very well. Needs TLC but in a good condition. I had the car repainted to the original color, its not a perfect job but it could be rebuff, has 79,000 original miles.
Tires are 75% good. Antenna needs to be fixed (Broke in a car wash) small little dent, but nothing big, has FM Radio and cassette, seats in the back are well maintain, the driver seat there is a small ripp, great suspension. transmission and drives great/ Needs TLC,but a beautiful classic.
