Car returns to ebay 9/10/20

www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Jaguar-XJS/254714349741

Car has a buy it now price of $7,900 for 29 days, seller rrmusclecar, car now said to be in Weston, Missouri, 100k miles, previously in Middletown, Connecticut.

Seller's description:

1987 Jaguar XJS..... PROJECT that I don't have time or room to finish.

I have swapped out the old tired V12 for new Blue Print 400HP small block crate engine.

Less than 20 miles on the engine. Also added a 350 Turbo transmission with B&M shifter.

New aluminum radiator and electric fans. Electric fuel pump.

Custom stainless exhaust with glass packs (Deep throaty sound)

Car runs and drives but currently is NOT roadworthy due to brakes.

Brakes are good enough for moving around the shop, going around the block, and loading/unloading, But not on the roads at this point.

New tires. Less than 20 miles. Only driven around the block for testing.

Just had the front seats restored with original grain leather.

It still needs some TLC. The paint has a few surface rust spots. Floors, rockers, trunk are all very solid.

A lot has been done but it is a PROJECT that needs to be finished.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
